There is debate over Website vs Sales Funnel. Some say websites are dead & funnels are what you should be doing.

My view is that brands/businesses need both Websites & Funnels.

No matter how much-targeted traffic you bring to your funnels. A prospective buyer who lands on your funnel will always go to your website to check out whether you are trustworthy & credible or not.

Prospects will go to your blog articles & other pages of the website. Research them and then will create an opinion about your brand. Building trust is what a website does for your brand.

This is especially true for high-value products & services. Just funnel alone cannot build trust. Both websites & funnels will do the work for you.

Sales is achieved only when trust is built.

Sometimes sales funnel built for low-value products & services will do the work for you. But for high-value products & services. Website & sales funnel will do the work.
